Aims

The Australian and New Zealand (ANZ) Purine Club was initiated and formed in 2018 by Prof. Geoffrey Burnstock (President), with Dr. Jennie Cederholm and Prof. Ronald Sluyter joining the Executive committee as Co-Presidents.

The purpose of the ANZ Purine Club is:

  • to provide a platform for Australian and New Zealand scientists to disseminate their purinergic signalling research;
  • to provide opportunities to build existing and develop new collaborations;
  • to provide leadership and career development opportunities for early/mid-career researchers and research students;
  • to promote Australian and New Zealand purinergic signalling research internationally.
